Anchors (Emotional Punching Bag)

I've noticed the way that you behave
I've seen it all before
Another friendship trampled on the floor
You didn't treat me as a friend, you treated me like a slave

Your toxicity weighed me down like anchors
I'm not your emotional punching bag
Ganging up on me with another mate, that's a right red flag
I don't need to explain why I've cut you off

I'm not the cause of your insecurities
Don't go bombarding me with your drama, I ain't an emotional punching bag
After all these charities
You're irritating me with your victim mentality like a clothing tag

Drop that 'poor me' act
You've already mistrusted the friendship contract
I'm not sorry that the friendship has died
You can't undo this mess, I've taken back my pride

It's people like you that make me feel lonely
Got me almost drowning deep in the ocean
I bounced back with a billion boundaries
Guess I did the right thing by ending this cold camaraderie
After I've seen your true colours
I don't need people like you in my life, weighing me down like anchors

Chameleon

Everyday, I've faced and witnessed girl-on-girl crime
I've always sat alone during lunch time
Guess secondary school never ends
After leaving behind these so-called 'friends'

I never knew a thing called internalised misogyny
why would you want your knees to be soggy
That was a joke, I know it's a codeword for girl hate
Why would you want to embrace toxic femininity
Was it really necessary of you to comment on my weight
How old are you? Eight?

Hating on your own gender just to impress men? That ain't cute
You ain't one of the guys
Just because you drink beer out from a champagne flute
Keep telling yourself a thousand lies
I can see through your bullshit with my iconic eyes
You're a misanthrope in disguise

I refuse to submit to internalised misogyny
Don't lecture me about equality
I love men, I disagree with misandry
You're just a chameleon
Not one in a million

Hating on your own gender ain't a personality trait
I'd rather work and have food on my plate
Than piss away my life
Of becoming a traditional-minded housewife

A man is a man, not a bank account
Stop belittling women over their body count
Calling me a slut over the way I look and dress won't make you pure
With that mentality, I can see that you're very insecure
Drop that Pick Me mentality
Every female is built differently

No means no doesn't only apply to rape
Hourglass, pear, brick, I don't need your petty pronouncement on my body shape
Peer pressure doesn't work through my brain
Traditionalism cause me so much pain
I'm a modern woman, you got a problem
Your attitude is ridiculous, I wish your parents wore a condom

Build-A-Bitch Part II

Love and respect will always be earned, not given
I don't believe in fairy tales
I'm not a fucking Disney princess
Don't expect me to wear high heels and a puffy-sleeved pink dress
Just because I have red hair, doesn't mean I'll be your Arielle
I pick quality over vanity, I ain't your Belle
I'd rather be alone in peace, standing under my umbrella
I don't wanna be your fucking Cinderella
No mate, I don't wanna be your Princess Jasmine
Guys like Aladdin ain't my thing
The list goes on, I'm too tired for this!

Boy, this isn't Build-A-Bitch
Weak-minded fools like you are only good at pressing copy and paste
I may not have a tiny waist
I'm more than a pretty face
I won't let you have a taste
England is my country, no use in denying my birthplace

Your unhealthy expectations of a woman
Makes you less of a man
I don't think you understand the difference between fiction and reality
You're just threatened by my existence and energy

Boy, this isn't Build-A-Bitch
You should be afraid of the fire I carry inside
I've risen back and maintained my pride
I dodged the bullet by not falling into the trap of being your bride

I don't need your backhanded compliments about my curves
You're weak as these pervs
I don't need to treat my friends like shit just to impress you
They'll always have my back, unlike you

Boy, this isn't Build-A-Bitch
I could kick your arse in the football pitch
Oh wait, I've retired
Fuck off with your gender roles, you're fired
Just let me be
Only a strong-minded man deserves me
But first, he has got to earn me
